Maria has also earned the 2021 HomeLight Achievement Award as well as completed the Institute of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Course. Maria is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP).

Maria is active in serving the community by supporting events such as Safe Passage, Hope Haven and St. Mary School DeKalb where her son attended K - 8th grade. Maria has been married to Rob for over 30 years and they have one son, Matteo. Matteo currently attends DeKalb High School and is an active member of the DeKalb-Sycamore High School Swim team and DeKalb County Swim Team, hosted by the Kishwaukee Family YMCA. Family life is paramount to Maria and in her free time you will see her out with her family at local events, eating at local restaurants, attending swim meets, traveling, and enjoying her family time.
